Every year The Belgian Society of Thrombosis and Haemostasis organizes the Annual Meeting. More than 200 participants are gathering at these meetings, coming from university hospitals, research centres, clinical labs and institutions that are active in the field of issues concerning heart and vascular diseases, thrombosis, haemophilia, and other bleeding disorders.

After the succesfull Annual Meeting in 2010 with 250 participants we now prepare the organisation of The BSTH Annual Meeting 2011.  The meeting offers a  full 2-day program with a number of satellite symposia. These satellite symposia are  scheduled on both days integrated in the total program timetable. This increasing cooperation between sponsors and the society reflects the involvement of pharmaceutical companies that are active in the working field of BSTH.The locals organizer have again succeeded in attracting international high-qualified scientific speakers that will present the newest insights into Venous and Arterial Thrombosis.

Furthermore young research scientists are invited to present and illustrate their work in public.
